Intended Audience
IHS Education offers online training for AccuMap. Online learning (using WebEx tools) allows participants to gain the benefits of training while using their internet browser and a telephone conference call. Stay at your desk and attend our live interactive online sessions.

AccuMap Wells Overview Course Outline

The course topics are similar to what we offer for our in-person AccuMap Introduction to Maps and Data classes. With online training, we introduce you to the Map Features, Inspect and Query tools - focussing on Well data. This online course is approximately one hour.

AccuMap Pipeline Overview Course Outline

The course topics are tailored to the needs those who work primarily with pipeline data, such as engineers or Field office personnel and are similar to what we offer for our in-person AccuMap Introduction to Maps and Data classes. We introduce you to the Map Features, Inspect and Query tools - we give a brief description of well data and a detailed description of pipeline and facility data. This online course is approximately one hour.

What to expect with a WebEx online web seminar

For our online learning we use WebEx, the industry leader in Web meeting and online communication tools. When you enroll, you will receive an email acknowledging your enrollment request and another email with your enrollment approval for the web seminar. The enrollment approval email will include all the details to log on to the web seminar and a meeting request as an attachment. Please accept the meeting request so that your calendar is updated.

You do not need to install any new software on your computer to attend a WebEx session. By simply clicking on the link provided in the enrollment approval email, you will be prompted for your contact info. Then click on the button that says "Join". You will watch the AccuMap instructor’s computer using an internet browser window on your computer and we will talk on a conference call. (You do not need to have AccuMap on your computer during the online session). If you try to join the session before the instructor has begun, the "Join" button will not be available. Please wait a few minutes and try again.
