IHS Enerdeq DVD Course

This DVD-based course provides an overview on the functionality of the IHS Enerdeq application. There are nine modules in this overview. Each module covers a separate procedure.

Module 1-Introduction and Overview
This module begins with an overview of the homepage. We will show you how to access various data and product resources. We will then access the Query Editor and the Map in order to run data queries. Finally, we will review how to access files that have been saved while working in Enerdeq.

Module 2-Working With the Query Editor
We will provide an overview on how to query data in the Query Editor. We will review the data types and data attributes that are available. Next we will demonstrate how to locate specific search criteria to query. With a data query created, we will then identify the output tool buttons. Finally, we will review how to save and retrieve a data query.

Module 3-Working With the Map
We will access the map from the homepage and zoom-in to an area of interest. Map layers and labels are then added. We will review how to retrieve information for a single entity and for a group of entities. We will then show you how to generate output files for selected results on the map. Finally we will demonstrate how to print and save a currently displayed map.

Module 4-Browse List
A Browse list displays the results of a data query. We will show you how to generate a Browse list from the Query Editor and from the Map. We will review standard browse list display options and show you how to create and apply a user defined Browse list template. Differences between well and production data Browse lists are also reviewed. We will then show you how to re-sort data and how to generate output files from the Browse list. Finally, we will save a current Browse list.

Module 5-Generating Exports
We will access the Export page from the Query Editor. With the Export page displayed, we will review the results list; how to select an export type; where to name the file and how to generate the file. We will conclude by showing you how to retrieve your saved export files.

Module 6-Generating Graphs
We will access the Graph page from a Browse list. With the graph page displayed, we will review the results list and explain why a graph appears. Next we will show you how to access other graph types to display. We will then demonstrate how to print, save or email a currently displayed graph and how to generate multiple graphs in batch mode.

Module 7-Generating Reports
In this module, we will access the Report page from the Map. With the Report page displayed, we will review the results list and discuss why a Report is displayed. We will then review other report display options. Next, we will demonstrate how to print and/or save a Report as well as how to generate multiple Reports in batch mode. Finally we will show you where to retrieve your saved Reports.

Module 8-Generating Files for Large Amounts of Data
