Daily Alert – This course begins by covering login procedures and accessing the application. Different sections of the opening page are described and procedures for working with the various hyperlinked report, document and search screens are outlined. The last module reviews creating, accessing and editing the Personalized Report Generator.

Module 1-Introduction and Overview begins by accessing the energy section of the IHS website and logging in to myihsenergy. The Daily Alert application is launched. A brief overview of the opening report page is provided and various hyperlinked sections of the screen are described and reviewed.

Module 2-Report and Search Links covers the functionality of each of the hyperlinked report and document search links located at the top of the page. You will learn to open and compile documents as well as search for documents utilizing text entries, checkbox options and dropdown list options.

Module 3-Personalized Report Generator (PRG) opens by accessing the Personalized Report Generator home page. Next a Personalized Report template is created, utilizing different subject and location criteria, as well as selecting email options. We will also cover retrieving a report, compiling, saving and printing a report, editing report content and deleting a saved report.
