All well numbers subject to BERR confirmation
- IHS provides a database of all UK Released Offshore Wells. This contains approx 10,000 UK Exploration, Appraisal & Deviation Wells and is updated at each release. Key Data sets are Scanned Well Logs & Reports, Merged Wireline Logs, Well Attributes such as Deviations, Checkshots, Core Analyses, and Formation Pressure Data from RFT / MDT, Leak-Off test and mud weight data.
- Onshore Well Data: IHS is also an official DTI release agent for onshore well data and provides a database of approx 1700 exploration, appraisal and development wells. Key data sets provide are as for offshore data.
- Detailed listing of available UK offshore and onshore well data can be found under:
- Seismic Data IHS also supplies 2D & 3D seismic data in the UK. Full details can be found under

IRELAND: Official Release Agent for Irish Well & Seismic Data
- Well & Seismic Data: IHS is the official release agent for the Irish Petroleum Affairs Department (PAD).
- For well data, IHS provides a database of all released Irish offshore wells. This contain approx 150 offshore wells which is updated regularly as wells are released by the PAD. Key data sets are as for UK offshore data.
- For seismic data, IHS provides a comprehensive database of released seismic data in SEG-Y format. The database is updated regularly as new data is released by the PAD and also by the conversion of legacy paper data sets into SEG-Y as required.
