Pipesoft-2® is the ultimate tool for production and facilities engineers, boasting a variety of capabilities that enable efficient gathering system modeling and production optimization. You can design and analyze one well, a gathering system, or any combination of equipment that exists within a production network. Pipesoft-2® can handle any configuration of networks not usually available in competing software.  It can be a combination of wells and flowlines with loops, nested loops and/or crossovers, or a single well with complex downhole multilateral configuration. You can model single or multiphase flow for virtually any fluid - all in one tool.

Determine the need for artificial lift or mature field recovery
Pipesoft-2 lets you model changes in one well to determine how they affect the production from the entire field. With a view into potential well behavior, you can model more confidently the need for artificial lift, which results in more accurate, cost-effective decisions.

Oil recovery from mature fields using water or CO2 injection can be modeled to optimize production.  The required volume/pressure of water or CO2  needed is calculated considering the impact of pressure drop in flowlines, fluid properties, reservoir conditions, etc. that are associated with the injection (or production) system.
