PEPS - E&P Statistics
Do you need to know such things by country as: average discovery size, petroleum consumption, E&P activity or reserves replacement ratios?
The E&P Statistics module reviews trends in the most important E&P statistics for over 180 countries and over 2,500 companies for the past 10 years including averages, and historically as far back as data permits. E&P parameters examined, include:
- Exploration Activity (seismic, wildcat wells, appraisal wells, development wells)
- Exploration Performance (reserves added, reserves per wildcat, average discovery size, success rates)
- Hydrocarbon Balance (reserves replacement percentage, reserves/ production ratio)
- Licensing Activity (new licences, total licences, licensed area)
- Production (annual and total produced to date)
- Reserves (remaining reserves and total discovered)
E&P Statistics is a unique and independent database of worldwide exploration activity by country and company, which can be compared with other databases provided by the industry.
Data is provided for both onshore and offshore situations, liquids and gas, and on single-year, 5-year and 10-year timescales. Each year's statistics are added under the banner of a World Petroleum Trends update press release. Historical data is provided over a 10-year period.
Countries can also be viewed on a regional basis and can be ranked according to various selected E&P criteria (as above).
