The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) recommends that by Q2 2008 all companies be NAD83 compliant for all data interchange between government and industry.
The Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (AEUB) has now converted all geospatial data from NAD27 to NAD83. This impacts both incoming (submissions) and outgoing (well information) data utilized by the AEUB, which then affects all oil and gas companies.
