The IHS Well database is a comprehensive file, containing current and historical information. This database is available over the IHS Network and directly through AccuMap. Our expert teams of geologists and data management specialists constantly track and monitor industry activity, compiling the information you need for your exploration and development efforts as it is released.

IHS’s well data file reaches far beyond standard government agency data. Our well data team reworks and enhances data supplied directly from provincial government regulatory agencies and industry sources. All well data is reviewed manually, ensuring only the most accurate data is loaded to our database.

IHS has employees stationed throughout Western Canada collecting current data.

A dynamic database, our well data is updated continuously; new well licenses are available by 11:00 am everyday Each well contains a number of data types including well header, formation tops, logs run, casing, cores run, completions, well coordinates, status history, drill stem tests and production tests.
