AccuMap V18.08 Patch Available for SK and MB Land Text Subscribers

An issue has been identified with the original release of AccuMap v18.08 for users who need to view Land Text in Saskatchewan and/or Manitoba -- the release included on the CD's and DVD's (and web-based downloads prior to August 28, 2008) will not display SK or MB Land Text when activated in the Map Features.

If you do not subscribe to Land Text in SK or MB, this patch is not applicable to your installation.

If you have not yet installed AccuMap v18.08 using the supplied CD's/DVD's, please obtain the installation files for your flavor of Accumap from the AccuMap Updates page (http://accumapupdates.ihsenergy.com) and run the installation as normal. The files on the HTTP updates page have been already updated with the patch.

However, if you already have installed AccuMap v18.08 using the supplied CD's/DVD's, or have done the update using the files off of the AccuMap Updates site downloaded prior to August 28, 2008, please download the patch and install using the instructions provided below.

  2. Download the patch from this link
  3. Overwrite the existing accu32.exe in the directory AccuMap is installed in
  4. Inform users that they can now log into AccuMap
