The Ministry of Fishery and Natural Resources has opened the Third Faroese Licensing round, which offers some 38,405 sq km east, south and south-west of the Faroe Islands. Emphasis will be placed on proposed work programs when exploration licenses are granted. The deadline for applications is noon on 3 November 2008.
