IHS Announces Date for Canadian Energy Conference

CALGARY, ALBERTA (Sept. 12, 2007) – IHS Inc. (IHS: NYSE), a leading global provider of critical technical information, decision-support tools and strategic services, announced today it will host the IHS Canadian Energy Conference on October 30, 2007 in Calgary, Alberta.

The conference will feature recognized industry experts from IHS and Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), an IHS company, who will address the current issues and future trends confronting the Oil and Gas Industry. Speakers will offer their insight and ideas on how to maximize investments and improve decision-making by demonstrating how to leverage pertinent intelligence using the right information management tools in their near- and long-term business operations and planning.
